Fireball

A persistent hazard in all of the Catacomb games, the Fireball bounces back and forth between two points, doing damage to the player if it collides with them. It cannot be destroyed and will not harm enemies. while it changes in appearance between games (looking more like a ball of electricity in Catacomb Apocalypse, for example), its behavior and dangerous nature remain entirely consistent between all of them.

All the player can really do is watch the timing and avoid them.

Trivia

• In Catacomb 3D, Petton Everhail can charge up a Magick Missile to launch a fireball instead.
