Walkthrough[edit]
"In this map we battle a lot of demons again and finally Nemesis himself."
--kraileth
Beyond where the player encounters Grelminar, and so win the game, there can be found a whole maze of demon infested passages meant to entrap the player.

Trivia[edit]
- The message "Twisty Little Passages, All Alike" is a homage to a famously vague description from Colossal Cave Adventure (1976-1977), which helped popularize the text adventure game and so computer gaming in general.
- Only this and The Haunt of Nemesis from Catacomb Abyss feature a one on one fight with Nemesis, as Catacomb Armageddon and Catacomb Apocalypse feature the player tackling multiple incarnations of the necromancer.
- Unlike the later Catacomb Adventure Series, the game ends with Nemesis' defeat and the rescue of Grelminar, as opposed to having a Passage to the Surface level.
